200 on 100 - The Unraveling of Ryan Kelly.

The following video is a full account of what happened on July 12th, 2011, when Ted King and Tim Johnson brought local amateur, Ryan Kelly, on their 200 (ish) mile ride down Vermont Route 100.

If you want to know just how hard this ride was (21 mph average), you can see all the details on Strava.

At roughly 140 miles into the 212 mile 200on100 ride with Ted King, Tim Johnson, and Ryan Kelly, Ryan was acting a little odd.

He kept saying things like, “I don’t believe this is real. I don’t think this is real.” Wait, you can see for yourself:

The guys took a few minutes over iced coffee to catch up on some internetting and Tim noticed a seemingly jealous Steven Hopengarten had said this:

THE ZIPP 101 DRAWING

The Zipp 101 drawing will be held Tuesday, February 8th at 8:00 pm, EST.

The drawing will be hosted at a quirky little website called http://therollercam.com

This site is a testament to just how odd cyclists are. At http://therollercam.com, cyclists can live broadcast themselves on their stationary trainers and anyone can join the room and either train with them or just heckle them.

The Rollercam is really easy to use, but if you run into problems signing in, take a look at this short tutorial on the site:

http://therollercam.com/blog/2011/02/how-to-use-the-rollercam/

Please note: You don’t need a myspace, twitter, or facebook account to join the drawing. You only need a username.

You also don’t need a webcam or microphone. You’ll be able to see and hear (as long as you have speakers) me doing the drawing, regardless.

Just make sure you read the entire tutorial above and everything should go pretty smoothly.

So, tomorrow night, at 8pm EST, someone wins a pair of Zipp 101s!

Even if you didn’t get in on the drawing, join us in our effort to crash the server.
